LANDSCAPE AND WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY OF COSTA RICA

Adrian Hepworth

Adrian was born in Lichfield, Staffordshire, UK on the  29^th January 1970.

He graduated in Zoology from the University of Bristol, England in 1991 and then travelled extensively throughout Asia, Australia and New Zealand before arriving in Costa Rica in 1993.

 For the last nine years Adrian has worked as a freelance wildlife photographer based in Costa Rica, and contract work has taken him around most of Central America photographing for travel magazines.

 In October 2002 he won the Animal Behaviour: All Other Animals category of the BBC / British Gas Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition (www.nhm.ac.uk/WildPhoto) with this image of a female yellow-bellied sea snake and her new-born baby stranded on a beach in Costa Rica. 

At present Adrian is working on his own book illustrating the wildlife and landscapes of Costa Rica.
