The 47.000 hectares of rainforest that make up Braulio Carrillo National Park receive an average of four metres of rainfall per year.

On top of the world… Lakes Las Morenas seen from the highest point in Costa Rica, Mount Chirripó (3820m). On a clear day one can see both east and west coasts from this summit.
