Once
a month thousands and thousands of olive riley turtles (Lepidochelys
olivacea) invade this beach on the pacific coast to dig
nests and lay their eggs. |
Though
unable to hover with the precise control of their humming bird
cousins, flycatchers can show amazing agility when tempted by
a succulent meal. |
|
While
other members of its troop swept through the foliage searching
for food in Manuel Antonio National Park, this white-faced
monkey suddenly draped itself over a branch and dozed off for a
couple of minutes before rejoining the group. |
